Daren's XanGo™ Leads Scripts

Remember to customize your scripts to the way you TALK, not the way you write. Also, customize to the QUESTIONS responded to in your lead survey.

DAREN FALTER SCRIPT

Hello distributors. I've had many people request a simple outline for what we're calling the “Daren Falter” script for lack of a better name. Remember, this is just one of MANY different scripts and ideas you can use to build a successful XanGo business. Its perfect for some, but not for others. This kind of script can be modified and applied to any upline team member with a significant success story, but this is how I've customized it to my situation so you can leverage my research on network marketing. This script works well in recruiting the following types of prospects:

  1. People with network marketing experience (good, or bad)
  2. People who are business minded and want to make more money
  3. People who are responding to business opportunity advertisements
  4. Warm market prospects who want to make more money but hate the “old school” way of doing network marketing (bugging friends and family, high pressure tactics, etc.)

This script has been very effective in accomplishing the following:

  1. It puts people as ease faster so they don't think they're being called by a tele-marketer.
  2. It establishes instant credibility. Even if you started your business this week, you can borrow success from your upline.
  3. It helps you gain trust and favor with your prospect by offering them something of value for free. Giving VALUE to the prospect is what we're all about.
  4. It gives you a great excuse to request and receive their email address so you can follow up forever, for free.
  5. It keeps your initial contact short so you can get to more leads in less time.

Be sure to use this script as a guideline only. Don't be a robot, and don't make it sound like you're reading. Write it in your own words, and write it the way you would SAY it, not the way you would correctly write it. Proper grammar has no place here. However, proper speech does, so speak clearly and professionally while maintaining a friendly tone without sounding rehearsed. Practice, practice, practice!

PART I

The purpose of part one of this script is to break the ice and find out if you're talking to someone you would like to be business partners with.

COOL LEADS SCRIPT – For leads from a leads list or a less qualified lead source

LEAD: Hello?

YOU: Hi is David there?

LEAD: This is David.

YOU: Hi David, this is Susan Smith. I got your name from <Peter Mingils> Or the name of the owner, publisher, or broker of leads list you purchased) and he/she mentioned that you were looking at home-based businesses and ways to create more cash flow.

If you sense a bad attitude, or if the conversation just does not justify further contact, make and excuse and get off the phone. Otherwise… proceed.

YOU: <David>, I wanted to ask you a favor. Have you ever heard of Daren Falter?

LEAD: I don't think so

WARM LEADS SCRIPT – For leads from a magazine, postcard, or radio co-op or more qualified source.

LEAD: Hello?

YOU: Hi is <David> there?

LEAD: This is <David>.

YOU: Hi <David>, this is <Susan Smith> from < Seattle , Washington >. I'm just returning your call. You just responded to one of our ads that read <XanGo- The Next Big One!> Or just say the ad from whatever ad you're running. Do you remember leaving a message for me? (or) Do you remember responding to my website?

LEAD: Yes/No (If yes, continue, if no, they might be responding by mistake)

YOU: How can I help you?

Listen to their story, take notes.

If you sense a bad attitude, or if the conversation just does not justify further contact, make and excuse and get off the phone. Otherwise, proceed.

YOU: <David>, it sounds like you're they type of person who could really do well with what we're doing. Let me ask you something, have you ever heard of Daren Falter?

LEAD: I don't think so

Proceed to Part II

HOT MARKET SCRIPT – For leads you know, or people who already know you.

LEAD: Hello?

YOU: Hello <David>?

LEAD: Yes?

YOU: It's <Susan!> How are you?

LEAD: I'm great! (small talk, blah blah blah)

YOU: Anyway, <David>, the reason I called you is I wanted to ask you if you knew Daren Falter. Does that name ring a bell? (You can also do this with another upline 200K like David Butler/Dwayne Dyer but the rest of the script would have to be changed for their stories, not mine.)

LEAD: I don't think so

Proceed to Part II

PART II

The purpose of part two is to build rapport with your prospect, gain their trust, give them a free gift, and acquire their email address. Most people who have been prospected on the phone before have never been approached this way. You want the prospect to be thinking, “Wow, they're not asking for my money? And they're giving me a free ebook on something I'm actually interested in? These folks are different. Maybe this business is different too.” Most network marketers skip this step and they have trouble gaining the trust and respect of their prospects.

YOU: Daren Falter is the author of “How to Select a Six or Seven Figure Home-Based Business” does that ring a bell? Anyway, Daren is my business partner and he's been working very diligently on a new draft of his book that will be released soon. He wanted me to call you and offer you a free copy of the rough draft of his book. He doesn't have the hard cover version in print right now, but he did ask me to send an e-book version over to you right now. Do you have an email address I can send this to?

Get email. Just assume they're interested and they generally will be. You will soon find out how interested they are as you begin to engage them in more dialogue.

Great. I'm going to send this over as soon as we're off the phone. We're both anxious to get your feedback on the book. Keep in mind, this is a manuscript version and it hasn't been finished, or even proofed yet, but I didn't want to wait to get it to you.

At this point, if the conversation is still going well and they seem approachable, give them one of these…

<David>, when I send over the book, I'm going to send you a few links to some websites. Daren always keeps a current list of his top choices for the year. In fact, Daren was so impressed with the #1 top ranked company from his research, that he put his consulting business on hold and launched another home-based business with his #1 choice. We're both now building this new stream of income together. I'm going to send you a link to some information on this specific company and product Daren chose out of 400 companies. Its called XanGo.

When I send the email, I'll also be sending you some addition links including access number for our daily business briefings and conference call recordings, and my own personal contact information. Check out these links and get back with me today/tomorrow if you can.

Make sure you send my ebook along with the following information:

  • Your Website
  • Your Favorite Sizzle Line
  • Opportunity Briefing Schedule
  • Training Schedule

If you need any of this information, go to www.mymangosteentraining.com

No need to invite them to our “live prospecting” sessions until they've joined the business.

That's about it. We'll be updating and modifying this script as we get feedback. Give it a shot.
